Purchase of two Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) has highlighted the speeding issues through St Buryan village with only 60% of drivers keeping within the 30mph speed limit. Reckless drivers, going at more than twice the 30mph speed limit, are not confined to early mornings and late evenings.
Regular downloads of the VAS data is being shared with the authorities with a view to both enforcement and the possible introduction of a 20 mph speed limit though the village.
