St Buryan Lamorna & Paul Parish Council Vacancies in the Role of Councillor

St Buryan Lamorna & Paul Parish Council Vacancies in the Role of Councillor

St Buryan Lamorna & Paul Parish Council is seeking 12 candidates for election as Members (Councillors) at the coming May Election 2025.

We already have two vacancies, and three more Councillors may not be standing for re-election – this means that we have 7 Councillors who will stand again at the coming election, and 5 more people will be needed to make up our full Council of 12 Members.

The Parish Council team is able to make a real and positive difference to the people of St Buryan Lamorna & Paul Parish: they make decisions about grant donations to local organisations; they ensure access to Public Rights of Way; works to help mitigate the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss and prepare the Parish for the challenges of the future; and help celebrate and support the amazing projects and ideas that residents are initiating.

As a Parish Councillor you may be involved with planning events and services in the Parish; are consulted by Cornwall Council on local planning applications; and plan for the future of the Parish via the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) and much more!
