St Buryan Feast was held in May and there was something for everyone! Kicking the weekend off was the Feast Variety Concert held at the village hall showcasing the talents of the locals – young and old(er)! Hosted by Julian Ellis, who kept the show running smoothly, it was nice to see the Village Hall full once again before heading up to the St Buryan Inn for some singing with the Male Voice Choir.
Saturday began with a Feast Market hosted by the St Buryan Market and the Church and Chapel, and the afternoon was filled by Children’s Day at the Community House. Thankfully the weather remained sunny and there was a good turnout by the village and the children had a lovely day. The Feast Bells were also rung at the church and there was more dancing at the Community House and the pub in the evening.
The Pipers Choir performed at the Chapel on Feast Monday which also held a cream tea during the afternoon.
All in all a very successful Feast once again and we look forward to next year!
